End of Summer Fun

The park near our house has been under construction but finally was finished at the start of the summer. We have gone a couple times since we got back and Logan loves it. This is the same park that we all went to growing up so its cool to take Logan there, but now its updated and improved...its just not the same when you don't have to get a tetanus shot after going on the slide. They kept the spider web there, which makes Logan very happy.



Logan decided he was ready to try organized sports. His first game was this past weekend. He had one hit, 3 walks and his team won by the 10 run rule! The first 2 innings moved along nicely but the last few were filled with tired pitchers and lots of walked in runs. Of course none of this was new to me as I have seen much of the same in prior Cub's seasons. While their shirts just have the league logo on the front, I was happy to see that his team got to be Cubbie blue. When I told Logan it was great that he was #10, like another great baseball player, he quickly responded that, yes, he was glad to be wearing Alexei Ramirez's number. He's so funny.
